I really thought this would be a replacement of the free version, not a companion. I don’t know why it can’t have online features with the option to play offline.

edit: I just saw the developer’s response to someone else, saying there’s no social features because it’s an offline game. Their peaceful fishing trip concealed the fact that they were actually fishing for a purpose - to replace koi fish in a pond in a monks garden.
